What a great way to spen 45 minutes.

I haven't posted for a while so have quite a bit of exciting news. I am now qualified in Myofascial Release which is a great treatment for releasing trauma and chronic pain held within the fascia tissue (it is not a facial massage!). I have treated a few clients who have benefitted and enjoyed the treatment.

I am also opening my own treatment room on Monday 5th September 2016 which I am really excited about. Some mobile appointments will still be available and I will still be available for treatments at The Natural Therapy Centre in Kings Lynn on alternate Saturdays.

I have arranged quite a few successful hen parties throughout the last few months and have some arranged for 2017 already!!

Myofascial Release Course Booked

Posted on 15 March, 2016 at 4:35 Comments comments (0)

I have booked onto another course!! Myofascial release in May, this will be great to use on my deep tissue clients as is another technique for releasing muscular tension.

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a type of soft tissue massage incorporating stretching and elongating of the connective tissues such as fascia. It is a powerful method of releasing tension from problem areas such as the neck, the diaphragm, lower back and pelvis. Myofascial Release is a safe, effective, hands-on technique, involving gentle sustained pressure and stretching into the myofascial connective tissue. This helps to eliminate pain and restore motion.

I am looking forward to it!

Wow! What a month. I had my reflexology exam this month, I received 89% and passed with a merit which I am really really pleased with. I am now a fully qualified and insured reflexologist. During March 2016 my reflexology treatments will have a £5 discount, so book now.

September was a really busy month, so thank you to all my clients for your continued support and loyalty. I was back at college this weekend studying module 5 of my reflexology course, which was vertical reflexology so people can be treated standing or in a sitting position with their feet flat on the floor. Very interesting. 2 modules to go then I will be qualified and adding reflexology to my list of treatments.

Has been a year today since I gave up employment to be fully self employed as a complementary therapist.....where has the year gone? I am feeling very proud of myself that I have made it this far and hope for many more years to come. I have met some fantastic people over the last year and hope that it will continue. Thank you to all my clients for your ongoing support. xx
